PINCH 2: Glen disregards Nancy’s order to stay awake.

SEQUENCE 6:

Nancy takes more speed pills and coffee.

Glen falls asleep with headphones and TV on. Mom wakes him. It’s almost midnight.

Nancy’s mom tucks her in. When she’s gone, Nancy drinks coffee and dresses.

Glen’s folks watch Nancy’s window from yard. His dad thinks she’s a bad influence now.

Nancy waits for midnight, watches her mom drink from some hidden booze in the hall. Nancy calls Glen. He doesn’t answer.

Glen’s parents answer the phone. His dad hangs up on Nancy.

Nancy gets a call and hears the knife fingers scratching. She breaks her phone. It still rings. She answers. Freddy’s tongue comes out of it.

Nancy runs downstairs, but drunken mom has locked her in.

Glen sleeps in his bed with his portable TV. Freddy’s arms pull him down into the bed. A geyser of blood spews out to the ceiling. His mom sees it.

Cops and ambulances arrive. Nancy’s dad waves at her.

Nancy’s dad sees blood dripping through Glen’s downstairs ceiling. Nancy calls over there and says she’s going to go get the guy who did it. She wants her dad to arrest him in exactly twenty minutes. He doesn’t believe her.
